OMS.....DATE NITE.....SAY WAD?!

So last night Donald and I actually got to have a REAL date night. It's Literally the first one we've had COMPLETELY ALONE since Isabella was born. True, we only got like and Hour and a Half, but hopefully we'll be able to build on it and keep making it a tad bit longer.LOL.

SO anyways we went to Iron Steaks for diner, and OMS the food there's is So DELICIOUS!! I totally didn't know what to expect or anything from there, but boy were we pleasantly surprised. It is a tad bit on the pricey side, but we feel it's a reasonable price for what you get. We Had the BEST steak EVERRR. The only reason we were able to eat there was because in October Fox40 was doing their Frugal Fridays thing for Iron Steaks and we got a $50 gift certificate for about $28 after S&H. We ended up having to use about 50 dollars out of pocket to cover tip and the rest of the tab, but it was SO WORTH IT! We even tried Ratatouille for the first time, and it is UNBELIEVABLE. Donald even decided to take a chance and make some at home today, and it came out great btw :D!

We wanted to go to Ricks Desert Diner as well and sit down and have a pleasant desert at our favorite place, but alas Donalds mom called us and told us that Izzy would not calm down or stop crying (she called before we got our diner) so after we ate our diner we just came straight home. Lo and behold, we walk into the house and Izzy was knocked the hell out in her arms on the couch. Blah. If we'd have known that we would have just went to Ricks than came home. Eh, next time i suppose.

We are thinking that maybe if his mom could watch the kids more often, Izzy wouldn't be so stressed about us leaving. It's partially my fault since i've rarely ever gone anywhere with out, and we've NEVER left her with anybody but each other. I mentioned to Donald that we should try doing this at least once a month or every few weeks. Whichever we can afford; or Donalds mom can babysit. It did mean that Sophia couldn't bounce out of the house last night the second Mo Ling got home from work, teehee :D! She went home and had some diner for herself then came straight over, while Sophie still had to 'take care' of Jadelynn.

All in all it was a pretty nice evening, and we definitely need to do it more often. Can anybody give me some ideas on 'cheap' date night activities?
