OMS, So Isabella has really learned how to climb on AND off damn near everything in this house. It's getting a lil nerve racking, because she is climbing on top of the couch and then leaning over the sides and everything peering over the edge down at the pretty wood flooring!!! She has turned into quite the daredevil i must say. She is still uber tiny; but honestly what do you expect from a lil girl that came from Donald and I, right? She now has 2 teeth that have cut through her gums all the way, one on the top and one on the bottom. It's kinda cute :D! She has quite her own little personality also, it's insane how much she has learned over the past 14 months. Donald and i feel that she is talking way more than Skylair did at this age, and she seems to listen a whole lot better than skylair does as well. Maybe that's the trade off betweeen a Boy and a Girl? I really don't know. She tells us what she wants, or what she needs, hell she even gets some of the things that she wants or need and then brings it to us. How AWESOME is that, right?! However, if we tell her no about something she has somehow learned how to throw herself down on the floor and cry/yell/kick like a mini temper tantrum. It's a little amusing to say the least, mainly because she is just being so dramatic. (side note: we don't ignore her or treat her like crap. we just let her get it out so we can pick her up without her thrashing around). Skylair on the other hand has been coming home saying all this annoying garbage that he learns from all the boys at school, like "poo poo head"...."stupid pee pee poo poo dork"....ect. I talked to his teacher about it today, and she was saying that a lot of little boys act like that when they are first in the setting of multiple boys their age and that he'll grow out of it soon. and BOY do we hope so. IT has been quite stressful to say the least trying to de-train these statements from him. I also learned that he dropped the "F-Bomb" on the playground. So we're gonna have to have a little chat with him about that. I'm trying really really hard to not let him run all over me, but i'm also trying not to 'discipline' him like i was disciplined as i child. I really don't agree with it with the kids, but it has been a bit hard to just pick him up or tell him to go on time-out in his room. He KNOWS how to push our buttons; especaily mine. Gawd, he can be such a little punk. But there are other times that he just melts our hearts by simply walking up to us with a little grin on his face and plainly sayong " i love you :D".....that makes it all worth it in the end.
