Coming on May.....

Man, this year seems to be flying by almost.....well when i finally get a time to chill and really realize what day it is. Yeah, i really do forget what day it is sometimes. Lame i know. Anywho, on to the update:

Isabella is now 15 months old. She is getting so smart and so big! Well, that is unless you ask everybody else in the world!! I took her to the doctors on Friday, she weighed in at 17 lbs 11 oz (that is in the bottom .62%ile) and she was 28 In (that is in the bottom 2.25%ile). It doesn't bother me in the slightest. Donald and I are small, why should our daughter be big? I talked to her doctor about Vaccines, because i am such a 'Crunchy Mom' (lol), but in the end i did decide to continue giving Isabella her vaccines. Mainly because of all the health problems that i am going through right now, and the fact that i'm having that surgery in a few weeks. I would hate her to get sick, and have the feeling that it was my fault because i brought something home from the hospital that i could've protected against. So it looks like, for the health of the family (because i'm so susceptible) she will be completely vaccinated as well..... She is learning so much, my dad has been over the past couple of days and he taught her how to say Birdie! It was sooo cute! She was running after birds in the front yard this morning yelling 'Birdie, Birdie!!' it was way cute! Also, we went to the park by our house yesterday with my friend and her little sister and there was this small child size bench, and i got some cute pictures of Izzy sitting down on it. She looked so cute double checking her self as she went to sit down! She loves exploring, and playing, and EATING!! She eats more than Skylair does half of the time. hehehe.....where does it all go?

Skylair will be 4 years old in 4 weeks. I can't believe he is getting so old!! It's insane that so much time has passed since i've had him! He is getting so big too, i don't know what his actual height and weight is right now, but i will next month when he has a check up. Well it's actually in about 2 1/2 wks, semantics; i know. lol. He loves reading, playing ball, playing cards, disney, running around at the park, learning, and hanging out with his friends! In fact, i have a pick of him at the park too! That is Catherine; my friend Brandys' younger sister (12 yrs old). They get a long so well, i love it. She always comes with when Brandy comes to visit so that the kids are entertained as well. We also love the idea that Catherine is going to be 13 soon, can we say baby sitter?!

This has been a very good week for us all in all. My dad has been stopping by everyday the past 3 days. It's been really nice. I think it's because him and i have been talking about how the kids need to get used to him. Another thing that happened this weekend regarding my dad, i met his new g/f. He name is Linda (?...i believe...) anywho, she seems like a sweet lady. She tried to play with the kids....they played back a little bit. But you know how they are with new people. They tend to get up and run away. Which, by the way is something that Donald and I are proud of. I wouldn't want my child to just go to ANYONE. Would you? My dad has been so helpful lately, i love it. It's nice that he lives so close, because he has been able to just stop by and visit when everybody has the free time. These random visits have really helped in the kids warming up to him too, which i love to watch. He also mentioned that maybe on a Saturday morning or something, he could take the kids out for a few hours so that Donald and I can have a few hours to ourselves. Can we say Date time?! w00t! I'm so excited for that, i love that he's getting so much more hands on in his Grandpa/Father roles. It's sweet.

Well my Pacemaker surgery is in a couple of weeks. I'm not too nervous about it. I knew it was coming, so there's no reason to spaz out about it. Donald will only be able to take a couple days off, and those will probably be the days that i am hospitalized and maybe the first day i'm home. I think i'm going to need my dad to stay with me during the hours that Donald is at work, i know he'll do it as long as there isn't a job that he HAS to do. About Donalds' job; they're going to start opening for Lunch in May, so that means he's going to be getting some more hours. We don't know if they're going to be giving him mixed Lunch and Diner shifts, or what they really have planned quite yet. They told him it all just has to do with how well business does after the lunch doors open for a week or two. So Yay! Also, i talked to SSA the other day, my case is still pending consideration for appeals, they told me once i have my pacemaker surgery to send in all the paperwork from the hospital and the doctors and it will be added to my case. hopefully it'll end in my benefits being accepted.

Skylairs' birthday is 5 days after my surgery so i think that if we are going to have a party for him we will end up doing it on the 8th or 9th....right before the surgery and his birthday. Because i know i will not have the energy after the surgery to deal with a birthday party with lots of kids or anything like that. can you blame me?
